Cooper investigated why France doesn’t have a sillicon valley. 2 reasons for this:
1. Lots of French technies work in the valley because you can make stuff in there.
2. More techies and entrepreneurs (this word is invented by French) go there.
It’s also true for Chinese. But some Chinese are trying to make a valley here in China, either Beijing or Shanghai. I think my place, Hangzhou is quite fit to take the role of valley.
